Sadness, the blue doorway

Light all around.
The door has no shadow.
The darkness is in the opening of it.
It opens to a dry well of sadness.
The Sadness,
It is final.
Sadness, the final word of a long sentence.
Repeating it doesn't change the word.
The word says fallen.
Tossed to the bottom.
Flying through dry air,
Down you go, past all the
Know nots, have nots, will nots, and never nots.
Then you hit the bottom.
You look up, grasping for light,
After a time, it comes,
but then it goes.
The heart sinks further.
Sadness stays
Heavy.
Thick.
Inert.
This coming and going light only reminds you
what is not yours to hold.
Slippery walls won't help you.
You can't grasp them either.
You can’t and won’t reach the light.
...and here you are.
You rage, you fear, you
try to escape. Again. Again.
Hands slipping on slippery walls,
Again. Again.
Back down to the bottom you go.
Here you sit.
Rock hard at the bottom and make no mistake.
You will die here.
Lay down now.
Feel the cold, the hard, the cold hard under all things.
You will die here.
There is a door underneath. Unnoticed.
You don’t see it in the shadows. You don’t feel it because it has no handles.
Dying, this door opens and you fall in.
There is nothing but light.
